Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, on Friday inspected the ongoing dualisation of the Akure-Idanre road, assuring residents and road users that the project would be accelerated and completed within schedule.
The governor, who received a warm reception from residents and motorists during the inspection, reiterated his administration’s commitment to delivering quality infrastructure that would ease transportation and improve connectivity across the state.
The Commissioner for Infrastructure, Lands and Housing, Engr. Abiola Olawoye, led Governor Aiyedatiwa on an inspection tour of the project along Oke Aro Road, providing updates on the technical specifications and level of work achieved so far.
Responding to appeals from residents, the governor assured them that adjoining roads would also be constructed to complement the dualisation project and enhance accessibility within the area.
Governor Aiyedatiwa was accompanied by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Taiwo Fasoranti, and the Commissioner for Finance, Mrs. Omowunmi Isaac.
