The University of Medical Sciences Teaching Hospital (UNIMEDTH), Ondo, has announced the recruitment of Consultant and Resident Doctors across several medical specialties.
According to the recruitment notice released by the hospital management, applications are being invited from suitably qualified, highly motivated and dedicated Medical and Dental Doctors for consultant and residency training positions.
The hospital listed available specialties to include Orthopaedic Surgery and subspecialties, Surgical Specialties, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Anaesthesia, Paediatrics, Internal Medicine, Haematology, Chemical Pathology, Medical Microbiology, Histopathology, Radiology, Dentistry, Family Medicine and Community Health.
UNIMEDTH stated that successful applicants would enjoy competitive conditions of service under the Federal Government-approved CONMESS salary structure.
The hospital also disclosed that Medical Residency Training Fund (MRTF), health insurance for staff and family members, institutional support and additional incentives are available for residency programmes.
According to the advert, resident doctors interested in academic advancement would also have opportunities to pursue PhD programmes during residency training.
The hospital further revealed that consultant positions are available under full hospital consultant, honorary consultant, locum consultant and contract consultant categories.
Applicants are required to submit application letters, detailed curriculum vitae, copies of credentials, current practising licence and other relevant qualifications.
Applications can be submitted physically to the Human Resources Office, UNIMEDTH, Laje Road, Ondo, or via email through hr@unimedthc.org and cmd@unimedthc.org.
The hospital also provided WhatsApp contact channels for submissions and enquiries.
The deadline for applications is July 31, 2026.
