Cristiano Ronaldo scored his 21st Saudi Pro League goal of the season on Wednesday, helping Al‑Nassr FC secure a 5–0 home win over Al‑Najma at King Abdullah Sport City Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The goal, a penalty converted in the seventh minute, played a key role in returning Al‑Nassr to first place in the league standings for the 2025/26 campaign.
Ronaldo’s strike not only extended his tally to 21 league goals but also helped reinforce Al‑Nassr’s title push, as the Saudi Pro League leaders amassed 58 points from 23 matches; one point clear at the top after rival Al Hilal drew their fixture earlier in the round of matches.
The veteran Portuguese striker, 41, opened the scoring from the penalty spot and was substituted in the second half after an impressive attacking display that underlined his ongoing influence in Saudi Arabian football.
