Wealth Cannot Save My Dying Wife: Fayose’s Emotional Plea To Politicians

Isaac Fayose, the brother of former Ekiti State Governor Ayo Fayose, has shared a heart-wrenching video on Facebook, revealing the dire condition of his wife, who is gravely ill with cancer.

In the video, posted today, and watched by Starnews NG’s correspondent, Fayose explained that he travelled to Australia to visit his family, only to find his wife unable to turn, speak, or even open her eyes due to her illness.

Fayose, visibly emotional, lamented that despite his wealth and a one million dollar mansion in Australia, he was powerless to save or deliver her wife from Cancer.

He urged Nigerian politicians to reflect on the reality of mortality and the transient nature of life, stating, “The world is vanity.” He called on them to stop exploiting the vulnerable and stealing funds meant for the development of the country.

Expressing his deep concern for the deteriorating health sector in Ekiti State, Fayose highlighted the urgent need for reform, stating that the situation has left many families in distress.

He also took the opportunity to address President Bola Tinubu, suggesting that it is time for younger Nigerians to take the reins and lead the country towards progress and development.

Fayose’s emotional appeal serves as a poignant reminder of the struggles faced by many in Nigeria and the pressing need for accountability among leaders, particularly in the health sector. His call for change resonates strongly as he urges those in power to consider the lives of the people they serve.
