Officials of Uwie Local Government Area, alongside other dignitaries and the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Governor of Delta State, on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, paid a solemn condolence visit to the family of the late Mrs. Ngozi Chinye George at her home residence, in a show of sympathy, solidarity, and communal support during a painful moment of bereavement.
The visit brought together local government representatives, political stakeholders, and respected members of the community, all of whom gathered to console the bereaved family and honour the memory of the deceased. Their presence reflected not only official concern, but also the deep human value of standing with grieving families in moments of loss.
Speaking during the visit, members of the delegation reportedly expressed heartfelt condolences to the family and prayed for strength, comfort, and peace for all those mourning Mrs. George’s passing. They also acknowledged the emotional weight of the loss and urged the family to remain united and steadfast during this difficult period.
The condolence visit served as a reminder that beyond politics and public office, leadership is also measured by compassion, empathy, and the willingness to share in the pain of the people.
In times like this, words may never be enough; but presence, support, and sincere sympathy can offer a measure of healing.
May the soul of Mrs. Ngozi Chinye George rest in perfect peace.
