The United Arab Emirates president Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has declared that the United Arab Emirates will firmly defend its people and territory following recent missile and drone attacks launched from Iran.
While visiting civilians injured during the strikes, the UAE president reassured citizens and residents that the country remains strong and resilient despite the attacks.
He also praised the courage and calm shown by Emiratis and residents during the attacks, commending the public for maintaining unity during the tense situation.
The president expressed deep appreciation to the country’s armed forces as well as personnel from the Ministry of Interior, security agencies and civil defence teams for their swift response to the attacks.
According to Sheikh Mohamed, their rapid actions helped protect lives and limit damage following the strikes.
He further assured the public that the UAE would recover stronger from the incident.
“I promise everyone that we will come out of this stronger than before, without any doubt,” he added.
The statement comes amid rising tensions across the Middle East as the conflict involving the United States, Israel and Iran continues to escalate, raising concerns about wider regional instability.
