Step Down From Presidential Race, Try Councillor or LG Chairman — VeryDarkMan to Sowore

By Ameh Sunday Enyo-ojo

Social media personality Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, has challenged Omoyele Sowore to step down from the 2027 presidential race and consider contesting for councillor or local government chairman in his state.

VeryDarkMan made the remarks in a social media post following a court proceeding involving Blord and the social media personality.

In the post, VeryDarkMan claimed that Sowore had earlier indicated that he would discontinue the case but Blord later appeared in court with his Lawyer.

He said the case had been adjourned to December 8, 2026, insisting that Sowore could not unilaterally bring the matter to an end.

“Use that mouth you used to say you would end the case to tell them YOU CANNOT END A CASE THAT INVOLVES VERYDARKMAN,” he wrote.

VeryDarkMan further challenged Sowore to abandon his presidential ambition and pursue a local political office.

“Lastly step down from the presidential race and try something else like maybe councillor or local government chairman in your state,” he wrote.

He also claimed that he was prepared to continue with the legal battle regardless of how long it took.

“Even if the case takes 10 years we will see to the end,” VeryDarkMan said.

VeryDarkMan’s comments have added another layer to his ongoing public exchanges with Sowore as political activities ahead of the 2027 general elections continue to intensify.
