Some residents of Delta State have criticised the All Progressives Congress (APC) after an APC-branded campaign bus was seen passing through a reportedly dilapidated road in the state.
The incident was captured in a video circulating on X on Tuesday, showing the campaign bus travelling along Agbarho Road.
Residents heard in the video questioned the party’s campaign activities and criticised what they described as the poor condition of the road.
“Failure, shameless APC, look at the current condition of the road you people are passing through to go and campaign,” one of the residents was heard saying.
The residents also accused the APC of failing to address the condition of roads in the area, questioning why the party’s campaign team was using a road they described as broken and badly deteriorated.
The video has since drawn attention online, with the residents’ comments focusing on the contrast between the party’s campaign activities and the condition of the road along which its campaign vehicle was travelling.
