The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd.) has launched a ₦66-per-litre petrol discount for customers using the NNPC Fuel App at participating NNPC Retail stations nationwide.
The promotion, which began on October 1, will run until October 7, 2026, as part of activities marking Nigeria’s 66th Independence Anniversary.
NNPC announced the promotion through its official social media channels, encouraging motorists to fuel their vehicles and complete transactions through the NNPC Fuel App to access the discount.
The company said customers across the country had already begun taking advantage of the offer at its stations.
The ₦66 discount applies to each litre of petrol purchased, subject to the terms and conditions of the promotion. It is therefore a temporary promotional offer and should not be interpreted as a permanent nationwide reduction in the official pump price of petrol.
The promotion comes amid renewed public attention on petrol prices and the cost of living, with organised labour currently demanding a reduction in petrol prices as part of measures to ease economic hardship.
NNPC urged customers to continue using its Fuel App during the promotional period and to follow its official channels for further information.
Motorists have until October 7 to benefit from the temporary ₦66-per-litre offer at participating NNPC Retail stations.
