The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has released an updated appointment link for Nigerians in the United Kingdom seeking to participate in the 2026 Special Passport Intervention Exercise.
The appointment link, released through the Service’s official X handle on Saturday, is for Phase 2 of the intervention exercise.
The development followed the extension of the exercise from its earlier schedule, with the intervention now expected to run from October 6 to 30 following high turnout and sustained demand from Nigerians in the UK.
Interested applicants have been directed to use the new appointment platform to secure slots for the exercise.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the special passport intervention exercise commenced on September 7, 2026, across the London and Manchester centres.
The NIS said in its latest review that 2,296 applicants were successfully enrolled within the first six operational days, comprising 587 applicants at the London Centre and 1,709 at the Manchester Centre.
The Service also said passport production and dispatch for enrolled applicants had commenced and were progressing steadily.
The NIS urged applicants to cooperate with officials at the intervention centres to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
