Isaac Fayose, popularly known as Fayose Jnr and younger brother of former Ekiti State governor Ayodele Fayose, has released a video purportedly showing a local “head hunter” in Ondo State using traditional spiritual methods, commonly referred to as juju, to track down suspected kidnappers.
The video, which has been circulating on social media, allegedly captures the traditionalist demonstrating how charms were deployed to identify and expose criminal elements operating within parts of the state.
Isaac Fayose, known for his outspoken commentary on political and social issues, shared the footage amid growing concerns over insecurity in some communities in Ondo State.
While some online users applauded the reliance on indigenous methods in combating crime, others questioned the credibility and legality of such approaches. As of the time of filing this report, security agencies have not issued any official statement regarding the video or the claims surrounding it.
The development comes against the backdrop of rising kidnapping incidents in parts of Ondo State, with affected communities calling for stronger and more proactive security measures.
