Dr. Ogunleye Oluwasegun Michael is a distinguished academic, seasoned educational consultant, and strategic administrator with over a decade of experience in higher education leadership and institutional development.
He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Political Science (Political Economy and Development Studies) from Nasarawa State University, Keffi, as well as an M.Sc. in the same field. He is also a graduate of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko (AAUA), where he earned a Bachelor of Science (Education) in Political Science and a Diploma in Public Administration. He is currently pursuing an M.Ed. in Adult Education (Social Welfare) at Enugu State University of Science and Technology. Dr. Ogunleye is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Information and Strategy Management and a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Teachers.
Dr. Ogunleye has held several key administrative appointments, including Personal Assistant to the Provost and Admission Officer at City College of Education, Nasarawa State, where he began his academic career during his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) year. He has served as Director of Academic Affairs at Angel Crown College of Education, Abuja, and as Consultant and Director of Programmes at Quest for Knowledge Monotechnic. He has also lectured part-time in the Department of Political Science at Nasarawa State University.
He is the author of Man and His Government, a political science textbook widely used in secondary schools and higher institutions, and has numerous academic publications to his credit.
Currently, Dr. Ogunleye is the Chairman of Kingdave and Queenesther Educational Consult Abuja, through which he provides expert educational consultancy to a range of institutions. He serves as Educational Consultant to several primary and secondary schools, including Golden Tower International School (Abuja), Hybrid Preparatory School (Karu, Nasarawa State), Anointed Stars Academy (Karu, Nasarawa State), Abuja International Academy, and others. He also acts as the official Liaison Officer for affiliations between Adekunle Ajasin University and several colleges of education across Nigeria.
Additionally, Dr. Ogunleye is the Centre Director of the Federal University Lokoja, Kogi State – Quest Mararaba Centre. He is also Chairman of the Board of Trustees of KingDav College of Education, Ode-Aye, and Quest Monotechnic, Nasarawa State.
Beyond academia, Dr. Ogunleye is actively engaged in community leadership, serving as Public Relations Officer of the Union of Ikale Indigenes Worldwide, Social Secretary of the Ikale Progressive Association Abuja, General Secretary of Ondo State Indigenes Abuja, and holding other key positions within Yoruba associations and other social clubs.
Dr. Ogunleye remains committed to bridging academic excellence with practical opportunity, particularly through advocating for graduate employment and supporting youth development initiatives.
