The Independent National Electoral Commission has activated its online portal for the recruitment of ad hoc staff ahead of the 2027 general election.
INEC announced the development in a public notice shared on its official X account on Friday, stating that the INECPRES platform became available to prospective applicants on September 18, 2026.
The commission said the application window opened at 8am on September 18 and will close at midnight on November 18.
“The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) will activate the INECPRES for interested Applicants who wish to serve as ad-hoc staff during the 2027 General Election as scheduled below,” the notice stated.
INEC said prospective applicants could complete the process through its website using either the mobile or web version of the recruitment platform.
For those applying with laptops or desktop computers, the commission provided the INECPRES web portal as the designated channel for submitting applications.
The commission also said applicants using Android devices could access the mobile application through the download links provided in the notice.
INEC urged interested Nigerians to use only the designated channels and submit their applications before the November 18 deadline.
The recruitment exercise is part of the electoral commission’s preparations for the 2027 general election.
