President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has celebrated his wife and First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, on her 66th birthday, describing her as his “truest friend and confidante.”
In a birthday message released on Monday, the President praised his wife for standing by him through difficult periods and accompanying him throughout their years together with what he described as “patience, grace and uncommon courage.”
Tinubu expressed appreciation for Remi’s support as he navigated both his personal life and public career, highlighting the role she has played over the years.
The President also acknowledged her contributions to public service and her activities as Nigeria’s First Lady, including initiatives focused on education, health, social welfare and support for vulnerable Nigerians.
Tinubu described the birthday as an opportunity to celebrate not only his wife but also the strength and companionship she has brought to their family.
The First Lady, a former senator representing Lagos Central, has remained active in public life since her husband assumed office as President in May 2023.
The birthday message comes as well-wishers, political associates and Nigerians continue to send greetings to the First Lady as she marks her 66th birthday.
