A self-described prophetess, Nmagha Jehovah, has sparked widespread reactions after publicly sharing what she claimed was a divine message concerning the political future of former presidential candidate Peter Obi.
According to the prophetess, she received instructions from God to tell Obi to abandon his pursuit of the Nigerian presidency, asserting that he would not emerge as the country’s president. She further claimed that the former Anambra State governor should instead channel his efforts towards working alongside leaders committed to truth, justice and peace, including Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe and others, to help foster stability and reconciliation across the nation.
The remarks, which have circulated widely on social media, have generated significant public interest and debate. Supporters and critics alike have weighed in on the prophecy, with opinions sharply divided over its message and potential political implications.
While some Nigerians viewed the statement as a spiritual intervention in national affairs, others questioned the relevance of prophetic declarations in the country’s democratic process.
