Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James Omiyinja, popularly known as Baba Ijesha, has once again denied allegations levelled against him, describing recent social media narratives as “far from the truth.”
In a candid interview on Talk to B Podcast, the actor spoke emotionally about the claims, insisting he has never had a romantic or physical relationship with actress Princess. “I never asked her out, never dated her, never hugged or kissed her,” he said, adding that the actress is known for falling out with people close to her and has “betrayed everyone she has been friends with.”
Baba Ijesha also expressed hurt over the involvement of actress Iyabo Ojo in the controversy. He revealed that she had once trusted him to care for her children, Priscilla and her brother, when they were younger, describing her as his “product” and emphasising that he could never harm her.
Addressing the allegations directly, he swore his innocence: “If it is true I committed such an act, let me not come back from prison, let me die there.” He categorically denied being a rapist or a paedophile, claiming that the events in question have been misrepresented.
The actor also asserted that he has a witness to corroborate his account, reinforcing his position: “I am not a pedophile, I am not a rapist, and I will never be.”
He concluded the interview with a pointed critique of social media, calling it “a devil’s platform” that has amplified misinformation and intensified his ordeal.
