The All Progressives Congress (APC) has released its nationwide campaign rally schedule ahead of the 2027 general elections, outlining planned activities across Nigeria’s 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

The timetable, reported by multiple media organisations on Thursday, October 15, indicates that the party’s presidential campaign will officially commence in Kaduna State on October 24, 2026, with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu expected to attend.

The campaign is scheduled to continue across the country through November and December, before culminating in a major rally in Lagos on January 9, 2027.

According to the published schedule, Tinubu is expected to lead campaign rallies in 12 states, while other party leaders and campaign council members will coordinate activities in the remaining locations.

Following the Kaduna flag-off, rallies are scheduled for Port Harcourt, Rivers State, on November 7; Jos, Plateau State, on November 14; and Ibadan, Oyo State, on November 21.

Other locations listed for presidential appearances include Maiduguri in Borno State on November 25, Enugu on November 28 and Bauchi on November 29.

The President is also expected to attend rallies in Sokoto on December 5, Asaba in Delta State on December 12, Kano on December 17 and Yola in Adamawa State on January 4, 2027.

The schedule identifies Lagos as the venue for the campaign’s major closing rally on January 9.

The release of the timetable follows earlier announcements by Senator Abdulaziz Yari, Director-General of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, that Tinubu had approved the proposed campaign arrangements.

Yari had said the council would organise coordinated visits across the country to mobilise support for the President’s re-election bid.

The campaign schedule comes as political parties begin preparations for the 2027 general elections, with attention expected to focus on the administration’s record, economic conditions, security, infrastructure and other national issues.

The APC will also rely on its state governors, elected officials, party structures and campaign council members to organise rallies and engage voters across the federation.

While the timetable provides dates and locations for the planned activities, campaign arrangements may be adjusted as preparations continue.

The nationwide campaign will offer the ruling party an opportunity to present its achievements and policy priorities to voters, while opposition parties are expected to intensify their own mobilisation efforts ahead of the election.
