The Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has approved the recruitment of healthcare workers across various cadres in the state’s Hospitals Management Board (HMB).
The announcement was communicated in a statement issued on Wednesday by Mrs Patience Arinola Adamolekun, a full time board member of the HMB.
According to her, the approval authorizes the Chairman and board members of the HMB to employ qualified candidates into multiple positions at designated grade levels.
The positions approved for recruitment include Medical Officers on Grade Level 13; Nurses on Grade Levels 10, 8, and 7 depending on qualifications; Pharmacists, Medical Laboratory Scientists, Optometrists, and Physiotherapists on Grade Level 10.
Other roles include Health Information Officers, Radiographers, Scientific Officers, Public Health Officers, and Executive Officers on Grade Level 8, as well as Dental Technicians, Pharmacy Technicians, Health Information Management Technicians, X-ray Technicians, and Medical Laboratory Technicians on Grade Level 7.
The recruitment exercise also covers Clerical Officers on Grade Level 04, Health Attendants on Grade Level 02, and support staff such as Maintenance Officers, Messengers, Security personnel, and Gardeners on Grade Level 02.
Prospective applicants have been advised to submit their names at the Hospitals Management Board office in Alagbaka ahead of the official advertisement and release of employment forms.
Mrs Adamolekun, confirmed that a formal recruitment notice will be issued soon, but interested individuals can begin preliminary registration immediately.
The move is expected to strengthen healthcare service delivery across the state by addressing workforce gaps in public health facilities.
