Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has approved the appointment of Dr. Mann Ali as the new Chairman of the Ondo State Civil Service Commission. The governor also appointed Mr. Michael Oshodi as a member of the commission as part of efforts to strengthen the state’s public service and improve administrative efficiency.
The appointments were announced on Thursday, July 30, 2026, in a statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Ebenezer Adeniyan. According to the statement, the appointments take immediate effect and are aimed at repositioning the Civil Service Commission to deliver on its constitutional mandate of overseeing recruitment, promotion, discipline and other personnel matters within the state civil service.
Governor Aiyedatiwa expressed confidence in the experience and competence of the new appointees, urging them to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, transparency and integrity in the discharge of their responsibilities.
He emphasised that a vibrant and efficient civil service remains critical to the successful implementation of government policies and programmes.
The governor further reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to strengthening institutions, improving public service delivery and promoting merit-based administration across the state’s civil service.
He charged the new leadership of the commission to work collaboratively with relevant stakeholders in advancing ongoing reforms aimed at enhancing productivity, accountability and excellence within the Ondo State public service.
