A 30-year-old politician and grassroots mobiliser, Mahmud Sadis Buba, has declared his intention to contest for the House of Representatives seat representing Sabon Gari Federal Constituency of Kaduna State under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The declaration was made on May 8, 2026, after Buba obtained the APC Expression of Interest and nomination forms ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The young aspirant said his ambition was driven by a desire to provide people-oriented representation and inclusive development for residents of the constituency.
Buba, who previously worked as a driver before venturing into politics, stated that his personal journey shaped his belief that leadership should be accessible to people from all backgrounds. He currently serves as chairman of the “Tinubu–Uba Sani Agenda ’27” support group in Kaduna State.
The aspirant has recently been seen consulting with prominent APC figures, including Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Vice President Kashim Shettima, Governor Uba Sani, and other party leaders.
Former Kaduna Central senator Shehu Sani described Buba’s ambition as a challenge and inspiration to Nigerian youths interested in active political participation.
