Ondo Amotekun has arrested a man pretending to be mentally ill, who was allegedly working as an informant and agent for kidnappers and armed robbers.
According to reports, the individual was reportedly providing critical information to criminal elements, aiding them in their operations. Authorities believe that his disguise as a madman allowed him to move freely and gather intelligence without raising suspicion.
The suspect was found with a phone, which is believed to contain valuable information related to his activities.
The Amotekun Corps emphasized the importance of community vigilance and urged residents to report any suspicious behavior. This arrest is part of ongoing efforts to combat rising crime rates in Ondo State under the administration of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa
