The White House said U.S. President Donald Trump has issued a stark warning that he is prepared to “unleash hell” on Iran if Tehran does not accept a deal to end the ongoing conflict between the United States‑led coalition and Iranian forces.

The declaration comes On Wednesday, March 25, 2026, amid intensifying hostilities in the Middle East, where explosive clashes and diplomatic stalemates have dominated headlines this month.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt told reporters that while diplomatic channels remain open, the U.S. will escalate military action if Iran fails to come to terms that lead to lasting peace, suggesting intensified strikes or broader operations could follow if negotiations collapse. Thousands of U.S. Marines and additional forces have been deployed to the region as tensions rise.

The warning underscores the fragile nature of efforts to end weeks of conflict, which has drawn in regional powers and strained global energy markets due to disruptions in strategic waterways like the Strait of Hormuz. Iranian officials have not formally accepted a ceasefire plan, and Tehran continues to resist terms it views as disadvantageous, heightening fears of further escalation.

Analysts say Trump’s language reflects both hardline pressure tactics and deep frustration with the slow pace of negotiations, even as diplomacy involving third parties such as Pakistan, Turkey, and Egypt edges forward.
