Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage has accepted a challenge from fellow music star Teniola Apata, popularly known as Teni, to face her in a boxing match.
Teni issued the challenge in a video posted on her Instagram page, directly calling out the award-winning singer.
“Mama!!! Make we fight @tiwasavage. 3 billion later, I go apologise for outside the boxing ring.” Teni wrote alongside the video.
Tiwa responded shortly after, appearing to accept the proposed bout with a brief but confident message: “Pick a date.”
The exchange has generated interest among fans, particularly following a recent celebrity boxing match involving former Big Brother Naija housemate Phyna and Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing.
Phyna defeated Nkechi Blessing in the bout, which took place less than 72 hours before Teni challenged Tiwa Savage.
Teni and Tiwa are yet to announce a date, venue or other details for the proposed celebrity boxing contest.
