President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has arrived in Paris, France, as his three-week annual leave in Europe enters its second phase.
Tinubu arrived in the French capital on Sunday after spending the first part of his holiday in London, United Kingdom.
The President departed Abuja on August 30 for the vacation, which the Presidency announced as part of his annual leave.
His movement to Paris marks the second leg of the European holiday, during which he is expected to remain in France for the rest of his leave before returning to Nigeria.
The President’s vacation comes amid increasing political activities ahead of the 2027 general elections, with the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) already making preparations for its campaign structure.
The Presidency had earlier indicated that Tinubu would return to Abuja at the end of the three-week break and join preparations for the 2027 election campaign.
Since assuming office in May 2023, France has remained one of Tinubu’s regular foreign destinations, with the President making several visits to the country for official engagements.
Upon his return to Nigeria, Tinubu is expected to resume his official duties and continue engagements on governance and preparations ahead of the 2027 elections.
