Sunderland manager Regis Le Bris has declared Arsenal the best team in Europe, ahead of their Premier League clash on Saturday night.
Le Bris praised Mikel Arteta’s side for their impressive form and remarkable winning momentum this season.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference, the Sunderland boss said Arsenal’s recent performances had convinced him they currently stand above other European teams.
«“I think they [Arsenal] are in great form right now. They are currently the best team in Europe,” Le Bris said.»
He also highlighted Arsenal’s impressive performance against Napoli, noting that the Gunners have recorded five consecutive victories.
“It seems they have achieved five consecutive wins, and this momentum is truly remarkable,” he added.
