A shocking confession by a repentant Boko Haram member has once again exposed the brutal human cost of Nigeria’s long-running insurgency, as the ex-fighter admitted to personally killing over 100 people during his time with the terrorist group.
This development was reported on April 11, 2026, in a viral video where the former insurgent, now undergoing rehabilitation, openly recounted his involvement in multiple হত্য acts, including attacks on civilians and communities in the Northeast. He revealed that many of the killings were carried out under orders, while others were part of coordinated raids by the group.
The confession highlights the scale of violence perpetrated by Boko Haram, a group responsible for thousands of deaths and widespread displacement since its insurgency began in 2009.
