Police arrest man attempting to sell human bones, skull for N600k

Operatives from the Iddo Division of the Federal Capital Territory Police Command apprehended Nuhu Ezra on Tuesday for possession of human bones and a skull.

This information was disclosed in a release by the command’s Public Relations Officer, Josephine Adeh, on behalf of the FCT Commissioner of Police, Benneth Igweh.

Adeh reported that the police, acting on credible intelligence, arrested the suspect around 9:00 p.m. at his residence in Gosa Kipikipi Village, Lugbe, Abuja. During interrogation, the suspect claimed he found the human remains while hunting in Kuje and intended to sell them for six hundred thousand naira (N600,000).

The Police Commissioner has ordered a thorough investigation to determine the source of the body parts, identify potential buyers, ascertain if the suspect was involved in any killings, and investigate the suspect’s history in such activities.

Igweh urged residents to remain vigilant of their surroundings and promptly report any suspicious activities.
