–Says what happen to the ceremonious flag off of the fly over bridge in Ore, and host of others.
— Akeredolu is an opportunist who does not prepare for governance and lacks administrative understanding, he says.
Former Chairman of Okitipupa local government and People Democratic Party (PDP) Aspirant for Ondo State House of Assembly, Hon. Solomon Bitire, has called on governor Akeredolu of Ondo State and its party, the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to stop flagging off several capital projects across the state without mobilising any contractors to site to begin work on same project.
Bitire says the continuous project flag off across Ondo State especially in Ondo South by the Akeredolu led APC government without budgetary allocation and award of contract to any contractors, is “deceptive, ridiculous, and a sign that the governor is an opportunist who does not prepare for governance and lacks basic understanding of administration.”
Bitire spoke in his country home in Okitipupa while playing host to the new Ondo South 2019 group led by its acting coordinator, comrade Odunwo Fadekemi in company with other group members.
“I’m happy that our youths in Ondo South have woken up, and I strongly believe we have all learnt our lessons from mistakes of the past especially in the previous elections. Your birth as a group is timely, and I most tell you all that this group has a lot of work to do in sensitising our people in Ondo south. You have lot of job to do in educating all the residents of this senatorial district not to fall into the mistakes of electing wrong people into political offices any longer.
“Thank God you all agree with me that Ondo South has suffered a major set back in terms of infrastructures and developments. Just imagine the level of deceit and propaganda under this Akeredolu-APC led administration. Isn’t it ridiculous how a sitting governor is going about in the state, flagging off capital projects, most especially in Ondo South, without budgetary allocations and award of such contract to any contractors.
“What happen to the ceremonious flag off of the fly over bridge in Ore, the flag off of Okitipupa-Igbokoda bypass road construction project and that of 51Km Araromi Seaside/ Akodo-Lekki road construction project in Ilaje? These are part of the projects flagged off by this government without budgetary allocations with political aim to deceive our people. It is the greatest scam I have ever seen since I ventured into politics.
“I hope our people will learn from this and prepare to make amendments starting from this coming 2019 general election by examining candidates very well before voting for people into political offices, Bitire added.
