Ondo Primaries: We are Ready to Entertain Complaints, Says APC Appeal Panel

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State has announced its readiness to address complaints from House of Representatives aspirants dissatisfied with the primary election process.

The party’s Primary Appeal Committee will be available today at the State Secretariat, located along Olu Obasanjo Road in Akure.

In a statement signed by Alex Kalejaye, the State Secretary, the APC urged aspirants to take advantage of the opportunity to present their grievances to the Appeal Committee, emphasising its commitment to fair play and justice.

“We encourage all aspirants who have concerns regarding the primary process to come forward and present their complaints. The committee is here to ensure that every voice is heard,” Kalejaye stated.

The committee will remain at the secretariat until all aspirants with cases have been attended to, reaffirming the party’s dedication to fairness and unity within its ranks.

“It is in the interest of fairness and the unity of the fold that we have established this committee. We want to ensure that every aspirant has a chance to express their concerns,” he added.

The APC’s decision to facilitate this appeal process comes in light of recent tensions surrounding the primaries, as the party seeks to maintain cohesion and integrity among its members.
