Controversial media personality and relationship coach, Blessing Okoro widely known as Blessing CEO has pushed back firmly against critics calling for refunds from funds donated to her, insisting that all contributions were made voluntarily.
In a recent live video that has since sparked widespread reactions online, Blessing dismissed allegations of fraud, arguing that many of those demanding refunds were never among her supporters in the first place.
“Those accusing me of scamming them didn’t even give me a naira,” she said, maintaining that the backlash was largely driven by outsiders rather than genuine donors.
According to her, the financial support came after she openly appealed to her followers during a challenging period. She described the response as an outpouring of goodwill from people who chose to help of their own accord.
“I asked for help, and people who love me showed up. That’s not something I should be blamed for,” she said.
Blessing stressed that the donations were neither solicited under duress nor tied to any obligation, adding that supporters acted purely out of personal conviction.
“No one was forced. If you didn’t want to give, you could simply keep your money,” she stated.
She also rejected demands for accountability regarding how the funds were spent, insisting she is under no obligation to provide receipts or financial breakdowns.
The relationship coach further defended her public image, attributing her continued support base to over a decade of consistent engagement on social media.
“I’ve invested years building my brand and connecting with people. The support I receive today reflects that effort,” she said.
Unapologetic in tone, Blessing brushed off criticism about her perceived lack of restraint, suggesting that her personality has long been evident to the public.
She concluded by asserting confidence in her influence, claiming she could still attract financial support from followers at any time.
