A member of the Ondo State Hospital Management Board, Pharm. (Dr.) Taiwo Adefurin, has congratulated Distinguished Professor Dayo Faduyile on his election into the Senate, describing the victory as a reward for years of dedicated service to humanity and the nation.
In a congratulatory message made available to journalists, Adefurin said Faduyile’s emergence as Senator-elect reflects the confidence Nigerians have in his leadership capacity, integrity and commitment to public service.
The health administrator noted that Faduyile’s journey from a distinguished medical practitioner to former President of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) and now a member of the National Assembly demonstrates his unwavering dedication to improving the lives of Nigerians.
According to him, the former NMA president distinguished himself during his tenure at the helm of the association by championing the welfare of medical professionals and advocating policies aimed at strengthening Nigeria’s healthcare system.
Adefurin expressed confidence that the senator-elect would bring his wealth of experience and passion for service to bear in the Senate, particularly in the areas of healthcare reform, workers’ welfare and people-centred legislation.
“The Nigerian people have entrusted you with a fresh mandate because of your proven record of leadership, courage and commitment to national development. Your presence in the Senate will enrich legislative debates and contribute meaningfully to nation-building,” he said.
He added that Nigeria requires leaders who are willing to speak truth to power and pursue policies that address the needs of ordinary citizens, especially in critical sectors such as healthcare.
Speaking on behalf of his supporters and followers in the All Progressives Congress (APC) across Ondo South and Ondo State, Adefurin prayed for wisdom, good health and a successful legislative career for the senator-elect.
He also expressed optimism that Faduyile’s tenure would deliver impactful representation, meaningful reforms and renewed hope for his constituents and the nation at large.
Professor Faduyile, a former President of the Nigerian Medical Association, was recently elected into the Senate, a development that has continued to attract goodwill messages from political associates, professional colleagues and supporters across the country.
