At least 13 people have been injured after a shuttle bus crashed into a wall at Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey, United States.
Three of those injured were said to have sustained serious injuries in the crash, which occurred early Monday morning outside Terminal B at the departures level.
The impact prompted authorities to shut down roadways around the terminal as emergency responders attended to the victims and worked to clear the scene.
The crash also disrupted flight operations at the busy airport, with more than a dozen flights reportedly delayed as a result of the incident.
Details surrounding what caused the shuttle bus to crash into the wall remained unclear as of Monday morning. Authorities are expected to investigate the circumstances leading to the accident.
