The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has strengthened its counter-terrorism operations through advanced aeromedical training conducted in collaboration with the United States.
The development was highlighted on April 22, 2026, as part of ongoing efforts to improve operational efficiency and casualty response in conflict zones across Nigeria.
According to military authorities, the specialised training focuses on aeromedical evacuation, in-flight emergency care, and rapid response to battlefield injuries, aimed at enhancing the survival rate of wounded personnel during operations.
The initiative forms part of broader capacity-building efforts within the NAF, which has continued to invest in personnel training, medical support systems, and international partnerships to improve mission readiness.
