A resident of Lagos, Kayode Samuel Jolaoso, has dismissed rumours circulating on social media on Tuesday that a Lagos court has ordered his immediate detention.
In a recent video, Samuel denounced the rumours and stated that he holds no animosity towards Maureen. “I met Maureen this morning; I am not arrested or detained,” he said.
“I am not detained or imprisoned. This is me and Queen Hephzibah Omoologo driving along Sabo Yaba,” he added in the video.
On Tuesday, reports emerged online claiming that a Lagos court had ordered Kayode Samuel Jolaoso’s immediate remand after he was allegedly caught secretly recording UK-based Nigerian blogger Maureen Badejo during court proceedings.
According to these claims, the individual, believed to be associated with the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM), was sentenced to 10 days at Kirikiri Correctional Centre for contempt of court due to his alleged video recordings while Badejo was on trial for bail.
In his video, Kayode branded the rumours as blatant lies, asserting that he is free and a happy with freedom, Starnews NG reports
