Mass Resignation Looms as Aiyedatiwa’s Media Aides Prepare to Exit

Mass resignations are on the horizon as media aides to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa reportedly plan to resign en masse due to poor treatment and a lack of funds.

Sources within the circle of his media aides indicate that prominent figures among them will be the first to tender their resignations, according to information gathered by Starnews NG.

Those in the know have claimed that the Aiyedatiwa government has effectively been hijacked by a cabal. “Despite substantial resources available to the state, a select few powerful individuals have dominated the government and taken control of state resources,” the source told Starnews NG on Sunday.

It was learned that many ministries, departments, and agencies in the state are reportedly being deliberately deprived of funds, incapacitating them from functioning effectively for the benefit of the people of Ondo State.

Some senior members of the cabinet who hinted at Starnews NG in a separate interview stated that people are tired of the administration’s promises to the good people of Ondo State without any significant projects they could be proud of in the media space, despite the surge in state allocations.

However, Starnews NG has gathered that Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has moved quickly to address the situation, as one of his media aides posted their resignation on the media group WhatsApp platform, signalling a strong indication of the turmoil that may befall Aiyedatiwa’s government by the end of February this year.

As of the time of this report, Starnews NG is closely monitoring the situation as events unfold.
