Henry Okoye, elder brother of music duo P-Square, Peter and Paul Okoye, has accused another of their brothers, Jude Okoye, of contributing to the prolonged rift within the family.
Henry made the allegations while speaking in an interview about the ongoing feud involving the Okoye brothers.
He described Jude as a “bad person” and alleged that he had contributed to the division between Peter and Paul.
According to Henry, Peter and Paul used to check on him regularly, but he claimed that Jude had never called to ask about his welfare.
He also alleged that Jude had shown little concern for other members of the family, including their sister, whom he said was in Lagos and struggling without adequate support.
Henry further claimed that Jude was not involved when the family initially started building the P-Square music project but later became involved and allegedly attempted to distance people from Peter and Paul.
Speaking about his own contribution to the group’s career, Henry claimed that he invested financially in P-Square’s growth and development.
He alleged that Peter and Paul had promised to give him 20 per cent from each of their songs but claimed that he had never received the money.
“They promised me 20% for each music. Nobody have given me. After two, three, four years, I asked them but Jude was against it despite putting money into their career, growth and development,” he said.
Henry also revealed that another brother, Tony, whom he identified as one of P-Square’s dancers, is currently in Lagos but remains largely unknown to the public.
Asked whether he would like to see the Okoye brothers reconcile, Henry said he would be happy if the family reunited.
However, he expressed doubts about the possibility of a lasting reconciliation given the circumstances surrounding the prolonged family dispute.
