Iran Estimates $270bn Damage from US-Israeli Strikes

By Paul Joseph

Iran has put the cost of damage from recent strikes by the United States and Israel at approximately $270 billion, according to government officials.

Speaking in an interview with Russian outlet RIA Novosti, government spokeswoman Fatemeh Mohajerani said the figure is based on preliminary assessments and may be revised as further evaluations are conducted. The remarks were later reported by Tasnim News Agency.

Mohajerani noted that Iran’s negotiating team is actively pushing for war reparations, adding that the matter featured in discussions during recent talks held in Islamabad.

She cautioned that the estimated $270 billion reflects an early calculation and could change as authorities complete a more comprehensive review of the damage.

The claim has not been independently verified by international organisations.
