I’ll restore Ile-Ife’s lost glory—Adeleke pledges

Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State has affirmed his administration’s commitment to revitalizing the historic city of Ile-Ife.

Mr. Adeleke made the pledge during a courtesy visit to the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Ojaja, in Ile-Ife on Tuesday.

Expressing discontent with the current state of infrastructure in the town during his visits, the governor assured to prioritize substantial investments in the infrastructural development of Ile-Ife, considering its significance as the cradle of Yorubaland.

Mr Ladipo thanked the governor for initiating the construction of a flyover in Ile-Ife, among other infrastructure projects.

In his remarks, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi commended the governor for his efforts to ensure even growth and development in all communities in the state.
