Before his new role, he served as Deputy Rector of the institution and has held several key administrative positions, including Director of Works and Head of Department.
According to a statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Ebenezer Adeniyan, the appointment is part of ongoing efforts to ensure continuity and effective administration at the polytechnic.
A native of Ajagba in Irele Local Government Area of Ondo State, Olorunwa is expected to steer the institution’s affairs in an acting capacity pending the appointment of a substantive rector.
