Nigerian businessman and celebrity barman, Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, has renewed his call for a DNA test to resolve the lingering paternity dispute involving a Kenyan woman, Hellen Atti.
The socialite made the statement after the controversy resurfaced in the media, insisting that a transparent DNA examination is the only way to establish the truth and put an end to the public debate.
Hellen Atti has alleged that she gave birth to a child following an encounter with Cubana Chief Priest during a visit to Nigeria. The businessman has repeatedly denied the claim, maintaining that he is not the child’s biological father.
Reacting through his social media platforms, Cubana Chief Priest challenged Arise Television to organise a live DNA test involving himself, Hellen and the child. He said he is willing to bear the full cost of the exercise and added that he would pay twice the amount if the result confirms he is the father.
He also criticised the continued public discussion of the matter, alleging that some individuals were deliberately using social media and media platforms to mount pressure on him and tarnish his family’s reputation.
According to him, if the objective is to determine the child’s paternity, the issue should be resolved through scientific testing rather than prolonged public exchanges.
The controversy has continued to generate reactions online, with many social media users urging both parties to proceed with a DNA test to conclusively settle the matter.
