Ayu: PDP Chieftain Proposes Temporary Solution To End Crisis

A Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo State and a community leader, Engr. Ogunwa Niyi-Oboli (FCA) has proposed a temporary solution to end the ongoing crisis overthe call for the resignation of the PDP National Chairman, Sen Iyorchia Ayu, by some stakeholders led by Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State.

Oboli called for the inauguration of a Caretaker Committee as a temporary solution to end the crisis while speaking with Starnews Nigeria at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport on Monday.

Engr Oboli told Starnews Nigeria Correspondent that the removal of the National Chairman is achievable but he however said that the time is inappropriate.

While seeking his opinion on the matter, the Fellow Chattered Accountant said, “PDP needs a temporary solution to manage the ongoing crisis at the top. With reference to Le Chatelier’s Principle: ‘If a dynamic equilibrium is disturbed by changing the conditions, the position of equilibrium shifts to counteract the change to reestablish equilibrium. It’s achievable to perfect the removal of the Chairman but the time is inappropriate!

“A National Convention shall be required. The only temporary solution is if a Caretaker status can be established to address the inequalities! Let us kill the lion before we start sharing it. The success of the elections should be the ultimate aim of all the concerned stakeholders! My advice”, Oboli added.
