Ondo 2020: Our stance on a fake report announced by Ali Olanusi – Jimi Odimayo

One of the governorship aspirants of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Unity Group in Ondo State, Prince Jimi Odimayo, has officially distanced himself from the purported endorsement of Chief Olusola Oke as the consensus candidate of the group ahead of the APC’s primaries in Ondo State.

In a statement by his campaign organisation, signed by Yemi Akintomide, the director of Media and Communication, Odimayo said on Tuesday, that the unpatriotic move of the chairman of the forum, Alhaji Alli Olanusi, and few unscrupulous members of the screening committee chaired by Senator Yele Omogunwa, to say the least, is a high point of disappointment and embarrassment to the larger number of members of Unity Forum, and by extension, our campaign organisation and the electorates in our darling Sunshine State.
