The All Progressives Congress (APC) has finally broken its silence regarding swirling reports that it had withdrawn its 2027 presidential campaign council list, dismissing the claims as mere “rumours.”
Felix Morka, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, addressed the controversy during a conversation with TheCable on Tuesday morning. Responding to the speculation that had dominated political circles, Morka clarified that the party has not taken any action to retract or dissolve the council.
“Those reports are rumours,” Morka stated firmly.
He further emphasized that the party’s leadership has not authorized any changes to the campaign structure. According to Morka, if there were to be any official adjustments to the council, the party would communicate such decisions through formal and transparent channels.
