Residents of Bauchi State have continued to applaud the humanitarian efforts of renowned philanthropist and entrepreneur, Ahmad Yusuf Saifullah, popularly known as Ahmad XM, following the successful renovation and commissioning of educational facilities at Kofar East Primary School and Mabuga Primary School in Bauchi Local Government Area.
The projects, executed through the CM Charity Foundation, were officially commissioned amid excitement and appreciation from pupils, teachers, community leaders, education stakeholders, and residents who described the intervention as timely, impactful, and beneficial to the future of education in the state.
Speaking during the commissioning ceremonies witnessed by StarNews, community members expressed gratitude to Ahmad XM for investing in the future of children despite not occupying any political position. They noted that his commitment to improving learning environments demonstrates the critical role individuals and private organizations can play in complementing government efforts to strengthen the education sector.
The renovated facilities are expected to provide a more conducive atmosphere for teaching and learning, thereby improving educational outcomes for hundreds of pupils in the benefiting communities.
Officials of the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), traditional rulers, parents, and residents commended the initiative, describing it as a practical demonstration of responsible leadership, community service, and commitment to human development.
In recognition of his outstanding contributions to education and community development, Ahmad XM was presented with two Awards of Merit during the commissioning ceremonies. Stakeholders noted that the awards were a reflection of the positive impact his interventions have had on the lives of children and the broader community.
The highlight of the event was the conferment of the prestigious traditional title of Sarkin Yakin Matasan Chiroman Bauchi on Ahmad XM. The honour was bestowed upon him in recognition of his dedication to youth empowerment, philanthropy, and his unwavering commitment to the development of society.
The conferment of the title was greeted with applause and jubilation from attendees, many of whom described it as a fitting recognition for a young man whose charitable activities continue to inspire hope and positive change across Bauchi State.
Observers at the event noted that sustained interventions of this nature could significantly improve educational infrastructure across the state and help address some of the challenges facing the sector. They also called on other affluent individuals to emulate Ahmad XM by investing in projects that directly improve the lives of ordinary citizens.
