Super Eagles head coach Éric Chelle has charged his players to make a strong start to their 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign, insisting that Nigeria must pursue maximum points with determination.
The three-time African champions are scheduled to face the Barea of Madagascar and the Djurtus of Guinea-Bissau in a double-header this month.
Chelle said the team must demonstrate its desire to qualify from the outset and maintain that intensity throughout the campaign.
“We have to show everyone from Day One that we want it, and the only way to do that is to go for it with our hearts and refuse to slow down at any point. We must go for the points without any hesitation,” he told theff.com.
