Abiola Oladapo, Ondo PDP Chieftain Empowers Constituents With Signed Cheques

Hon. Abiola Oladapo, People’s Democratic Party (PDP) House of Assembly Candidate in the February 23, 2019, general election in Ondo West Constituency II, has again, put smiles on the faces of his constituents following his fourth empowerment programmes where cheques of N50,000 (Fifty Thousand Naira Only) were giving to traders, artisans, and small scale business owners, to support their trade.

Oladapo, on Sunday, distributed the signed cheques to over 30 peoples, during his fourth round of empowerment programmes which took place in Ondo West Local Government of Ondo State, in fulfillment of his promise to reduce poverty and alleviate the suffering of his people. 

The PDP candidate and a business mogul hails from the family of Oladapo in Ondo kingdom. He contested the February 23, 2019, State Assembly election for Ondo West Constituency II of Ondo State House of Assembly and lost to the candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC).

Starnews gathered that Oladapo is embarking on his fourth empowerments for the good peoples of his constituency, despite losing the 2019 house of assembly election.

Beneficiaries at the occasion

Starnews reports that about ten thousand business owners which cut across Artisans, Traders, Market Women and Youths In Ondo West Local Government recently registered to participate in the empowerment programmes under the Trader Support Initiative of Abiola Oladapo foundation.

The issuance of cheques for the first 100 beneficiaries was done in July 2019.

During the event, which is the fourth edition, Oladapo restated commitment to reduce the level of poverty by creating human resources and enterprising society where people will be self-dependent. 

The event was witnessed by PDP leaders, family, friends, and associates of Oladapo.
