The Akure Chapter of the Adekunle Ajasin University Alumni Association has honoured the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Kingdav & Esther Educational Consult, Abuja, Dr Ogunleye Oluwagun Michael, for the Distinguished Alumnus Award of Excellence.
The association said the honour was in recognition of Dr Ogunleye’s uncommon achievements and reference value as a distinguished personality, as well as his outstanding career accomplishments.
The association described the nomination as a rare honour earned through excellence, consistency and commitment.
The formal conferment of the prestigious award was held at the Nigeria Union of Journalists Centre, behind the Adegbemile Cultural Centre, Akure, Ondo State.
The association said Dr Ogunleye’s unparalleled achievements in his career had clearly marked him out as a man of excellence, adding that his consistency in identifying with the alumni association, as well as his moral support and advice whenever the need arose, were also key factors considered for the honour.
“We are proud to associate with a rare gem like you whose record of achievements is a comprehensive outline of royalty and responsibility, diligently executed with passion,” the association said, adding that it was proud of his success.
Dr Ogunleye Olusegun Michael is an alumnus of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, where he obtained a Diploma in Public Administration and a Bachelor of Science (Education) degree in Political Science.
He further pursued advanced studies at Nasarawa State University, Keffi, where he earned a Master of Science degree in Political Science (Political Economy) and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Political Science, specialising in Political Economy and Developmental Studies.
