VIDEO: I Will Forever Follow Tinubu,” Declares Oluderu as Ondo APC Chieftains Celebrate Her Birthday

AKURE – It was an atmosphere of celebration, glitz, and high-stakes political networking at the Saint Jacob Hotel on Monday, as family, friends, and progressive heavyweights gathered to honour Erelu Princess Bukky Abike Oluderu (FCIPM, FCIPAN).

Starnews NG reports that the event served a dual purpose: marking her birthday and the formal launch of her new political advocacy network, the BAT-KSM Movement, which is designed to promote the ‘Renewed Hope’ agenda at the grassroots level.

In a highly emotional and resolute moment during her speech, the celebrant and convener openly declared her lifetime commitment to the President. “I will forever follow Tinubu; I have been following him since the 90s and I will continue to do so, because he has never disappointed me,” Erelu Oluderu stated boldly, drawing loud applause from the audience as she pledged her unwavering dedication to his political vision and leadership.

In a series of deeply moving personal tributes, Princess Oluderu expressed her gratitude to the key figures who have shaped her life and career. She praised the Father of the Day, Senator Jimoh Ibrahim, describing him as a steadfast pillar of support who stood by her during times of trouble. In a remarkably candid disclosure, she credited APC elder statesman Chief Demola Ijabiyi with saving her life, revealing that his timely intervention prevented her from taking her own life during a period of intense personal trial.

She also expressed profound gratitude to Mr Akintomide, whom she credited as the mentor who first introduced her to mainstream politics. Turning her focus to the future of the ruling party, the political stalwart extended strong solidarity to the Executive Governor of Ondo State, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.

She utilised the high-profile platform to preach peace and cohesion, warning that the All Progressives Congress (APC) must remain united and resist any form of internal division ahead of future political battles. Earlier, the Chairman of the day, Distinguished Senator Prof. Dayo Faduyile, OON, paid glowing tributes to Erelu Oluderu in a speech read by Princess Oluyemisi Fayemi. Senator Faduyile characterised her as a virtuous woman, an exceptional mobiliser, and a reliable bridge-builder who has paid her dues through thick and thin for the progressive family.

The celebration brought together a diverse cross-section of Ondo’s political elite. Representing Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, Barr. Olatunji Olafeyide (SSA to the Governor) delivered official congratulations to the celebrant. Highly respected APC elder and President of the Liberal Platform in the state, Chief Demola Ijabiyi, joined dozens of party chieftains, political associates, and traditional rulers to honour the woman widely described as an Ondo political amazon.

Although the designated Father of the Day, Senator Jimoh Ibrahim, could not attend in person, he sent his sincere apologies and warm regards. The event successfully blended human-interest stories with forward-looking political strategy, cementing Erelu Oluderu’s fierce loyalty as a crucial driver of party mobilisation heading into the future.
