President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has paid glowing tribute to elder statesman and leader of Afenifere, Reuben Fasoranti, on the occasion of his 100th birthday, describing him as a symbol of integrity, principled leadership and dedicated service to Nigeria.
In a statement released by the Presidency on Sunday, President Tinubu said his joy “knows no bounds” as the foremost Yoruba leader attained the milestone age of 100, praising his contributions to education, democracy, public service and national development.
The President described Pa Fasoranti as a disciplined and principled leader whose life represents honesty, sacrifice and unwavering commitment to noble causes.
