Tinubu Approves N3.9 Trillion, 27 Road Projects Across 15 States — Full List

Abuja — President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved 27 road projects worth over N3.9 trillion across 15 states of the federation.

The approval was announced by the Minister of Works, Senator David Umahi, after the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting held at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

According to Umahi, the projects cover Adamawa, Benue, Cross River, Ebonyi, Ekiti, Kogi, Kwara, Lagos, Niger, Ondo, Osun, Oyo, Plateau, Taraba and Yobe states.

NIGER STATE:

1. N1.8 Trillion – 409km Dual Carriageway (re-awarded to Aliko Dangote under Tax Credit Scheme)
2. N71 Billion – 52km Dabban-Makina Road

KWARA / OYO / OSUN AXIS:

3. N276 Billion – Dualisation of Ilorin-Ogbomoso Road (Kwara/Oyo)
4. N265 Billion – Reconstruction of Iseyin-Eruwa-Agbesi Road (Oyo/Kwara)
5. N217 Billion – Dualisation of old alignment Ijaye – FGC – Ilorin Road with spur to Akinmorin (Oyo)
6. N110 Billion – Ogbomoso-Oko-Illupu Road (Oyo/Osun)
7. N104 Billion – Rehabilitation of Ilorin-Omorin-Ebe-Kabba-Obajana Road Sections 1 & 2 (Kwara/Kogi)

17. N92 Billion – Baban-Lamba-Sharan Phase 2 Road (Plateau)
18. N83 Billion – Jimeta-Mayo Belwa Road (Adamawa)
19. N62.99 Billion – Tungo-Karamti Road with 5 bridges (Adamawa/Taraba)
20. N58 Billion – Rehabilitation of Yola-Hong-Mubi Road Phase 2 (Adamawa)

EKITI / ONDO:

21. N34 Billion – 18km Ikere-Ekiti-Ijare Road (Ekiti/Ondo)

OTHERS:

22. N26 Billion – New flyover on Trans-Sahara Road (Yobe axis)

23-27. Lagos-Ibadan Expressway Operation & Maintenance Concession + reconstruction of failed sections with concrete, and Abuja-Kaduna-Kano 118km completion.

FEC said the projects will boost connectivity, ease traffic and create jobs.

The President also approved:

-Construction of 3 New Army Barracks in Oyo, Kishi, Ile-Ife.

-Establishment of three new military barracks in the South-West.

GOC 2 Division, Major General Auwalu Mahmuda, disclosed this during a courtesy visit to Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Abimbola Owoade I. They are:

• Oyo Town: Brigade and Garrison Barracks
• Kishi (Oyo North): Battalion Barracks
• Ile-Ife (Osun): Artillery Regiment Barracks

First batch of troops have arrived Oyo temporary site at Ote-Efon.
